RIVER FISHING
We currently have fishing on the Upper River Tay, the beats we have offer a great variety of fly fishing from good streamy water to slow deep pools great at holding fish in low water conditions. Spinning is also available on one of our beats.

2 ghillies, 6 boats with engines, private harbour, tackle provided for boats if required.
LOCH FISHING
Prices for the Central beat of Loch Tay are; £30 per boat midweek and £45 per boat for weekends.
Prices for West beat of Loch Tay are £35 per boat midweek and £50 per boat for Saturdays and bank Holidays. after the 15th of June the charge for boats on weekends reduces by £10 per day. (each boat can take two anglers who will fish a maximum of 3 rods between them) Fishing on Saturdays attract an extra charge.

Description
The Central and West beats of Loch Tay are often where the first and largest salmon are caught on the Tay system every year. Trolling is generally the order of the day with Rappala's, Tobies and Kynochs taking preference. This surely is one of the best ways to fish this area, taking in the magnificent scenery, snow capped peaks and even ospreys while sharing fishing stories with your ghillie.
All boats and equipment are kept to a very high standard with new boats being added to the fleet every year (2 in 2004).
The fleet consists of 2 x orkney longliners, 2 x 16 ft coulam, 1 x orkney 15ft, spinner and 2 x 15 ft scuds (mainly used for brown trout fly fishing)
The main months on the loch are from the beginning of the season (15 Jan) until mid/end June. The hotel also has access to beats on the upper Tay, Lyon and Dochart rivers, prices are from £20-£60 per rod per day.
Ardeonaig hotel is one of the more famous scottish fishing hotels forming the heart of fishing on the upper Tay, loch and Dochart.
Anglers are looked after by experienced local ghillies who know the loch well and who are supported by the ever friendly and efficient hotel staff. (dinner should not be missed). Both experienced anglers and first timers are very welcome. Flyfishing lessons are also available throughout the year. Special breaks for anglers are often on offer. The hotel also sells a limited amount of tackle
Fish over 20lbs are caught every year with fish at 30lbs not impossible.
We offer dual fishing packages for a mix of both loch and river fishing at very good prices, please give us a call and find out more.
Limited syndicate boats are available the prices are as follows;
SYNDICATE BOAT PRICES;
1 midweek day per week for 15 weeks is £400
Saturday only for 10 weeks £475.00 and for 15 weeks £650.00
Whole season any 1 day per week (midweek only March-May) £850.00.
